“What exactly is in his lectures that makes his speaking fees so high like $720,000/2 Hours ?”
Today, I would like to share a summary of his core teachings with you.
I encourage you to put these principles into practice and pave your own way to success.
Quiz: What do you think this illustration represents?

The Answer: These are photos of someone transporting a massive volume of plastic bottles on a single bicycle, and another carrying 15 pigs on a motorbike. (Presumed to be taken in China or Vietnam about 30 years ago.)
When to Use These Images: These photos are perfect for persuading those who stubbornly insist, “We absolutely need a 5-ton cargo truck to move this!”—people who focus only on the lack of resources rather than solutions.
The Lesson: This is the ultimate success secret of those who constantly ask “How?” to solve a problem.
It demonstrates that with a shift in mindset, you can overcome resource limitations and find a way to make it happen.
Success Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires

“These four elements summarize Brian Tracy’s intensive two-hour lecture.”
There are four elements to success:
- A positive self-image
- The belief that you can do it
- Knowing what you truly want (The Dream)
- Taking action
It may look simple at first glance, but you might find it a bit hard to fully grasp, right?
Let me break it down for you, one by one, in an easy-to-understand way.
1. PSI Belief(Positive Self-Image Belief)
The first step toward success is to value yourself.
This means having a positive self-image, such as: “I am young,” “I am beautiful enough,” “I am a warm-hearted person,” or “I am intelligent.”

Did you know that in reality, every single one of you reading this was already a champion in a marathon race the moment you were born?
The image below shows just how precious of a being you truly are.

A healthy adult male contains at least 40 million sperm cells in a single ejaculation when observed under a microscope. Among these, 75% are alive, while the remaining 25% are dead despite having a complete form. Furthermore, of the 75% that are alive, only half are considered normal, while the rest are deformed and unable to move properly. Out of these normal sperm cells, only 30% are capable of swimming effectively.
So, how many sperm cells actually participate in this marathon? The calculation comes to approximately 4.5 million. The truly amazing fact is that every single one of you was a “champion” who swam in first place, met the egg, and was born as a human being.
For reference, the Boston Marathon has a total attendance of about 530,000 people, including 30,000 runners and 500,000 spectators. This means you took first place in a swimming competition nearly ten times larger than the Boston Marathon.
Isn’t the journey of your birth truly extraordinary? For this reason, you have every right to take immense pride in yourself.
Never ever hold the opposite image of this.

2. I-Can Belief
Now, let’s move on to the second element of success.
Belief is the fuel that powers your potential. Since you have already proven yourself to be a ‘champion’ who won a race of millions before you were even born, you already possess the inherent power to overcome any obstacle. Success is not reserved for the few; it belongs to those who truly believe that they can achieve it. If you believe you can, you are already halfway there. Do not let self-doubt limit your unlimited potential.

The weightlifter shown above developed far more muscle than Arnold Schwarzenegger, the famous actor and former Governor of California. He is a prime example of someone who possessed an unwavering belief in his own potential.
The speaker, Brian Tracy, emphasizes that the second essential element for success is the firm belief that “I can do it.” This is the power of self-assurance. Once you begin to view yourself positively and take pride in who you are, the confidence to say “I can do it” naturally follows.
The one thing you must never do is utter the negative phrase, “I can’t do it.” Using such negative language with your subordinates or your children is truly the worst thing you can do. Please, never, ever speak such negative words to yourself or to others.
3. Dream(Knowing what I really want)

The third element of success is “Knowing what you truly want.” You must be specific.
Many people often think, “I want to be successful” or “I want to be rich,” but most of them end their lives without ever achieving those desires. In his lecture, Brian Tracy suggests writing down three of your dreams on a piece of paper.
Furthermore, he emphasizes putting this piece of paper in your wallet so that you can see and remind yourself of it every time you open it. (Tip: Nowadays, setting it as your smartphone’s lock screen is even better, as it allows you to see it even more frequently.)
Even if these dreams feel so big that they seem impossible to achieve, it is critically important to write them down first. Brian Tracy calls this the “Power of Writing.”
It is said that 90% of people who attend an $800,000 lecture think, “Eh, there’s nothing special to this,” and never actually write down their notes. Since I first encountered this video, I have spent the last 18 years since 2008 designing and printing the million-dollar bill you see above, writing my 10 dreams (bucket list) on the back. Since I have achieved about five of them every year, it has been quite effective
4. Taking Action
Many people handle the first three steps (75% of success) well, but fail because they hesitate at the final stage.
In other words, having a positive self-image, believing in yourself, and writing down your dreams on paper are all driven by your “Thoughts.”
Now, let me explain the secret to moving on to the final stage: Taking Action.

In his lecture videos, Brian Tracy emphasizes the word “How?” It is crucial to frequently ask yourself “How?” in order to get what you want.
As shown in the photos above:
- How can I make this happen?
- How can I earn a $3,000 bonus from my company?
- For example: You could consider the company’s suggestion system, internal contests, language proficiency allowances, employee of the month awards, or year-end bonuses.)
- How can I travel to France with my family?
- For example: Start by checking expenses on travel agency websites, book flights in advance to match your vacation period, and just go—even if the cost feels a bit burdensome. Doing so will lead you to dream even bigger dreams later on.)
It is important to achieve a very “small success” first.
Without a doubt, this small success will bring you a sense of accomplishment.
Once you experience this feeling, you are bound to repeat those small successes. When these small successes accumulate, they eventually lead to “great success.”
Don’t believe it? Just give it a try. Even if you try and fail, you have very little to lose.
When people over the age of 80 were asked what they regretted most before they died, they said,
“Not having made more attempts to achieve my dreams when I was young.”
Never Give Up Spirit : The image below shows the survival game between a stork and a frog.

- This illustration is very famous among Koreans for its powerful message: “Never Give Up.
- “The Twist: However, the frog does not give up. It reaches out with its front legs and tightly strangles the stork’s neck. The more the stork tries to swallow the frog, the more the stork itself begins to suffocate. It is a brilliant counterattack.
- The Message: This delivers a powerful message of hope: “No matter how dire the situation may be, if you stay focused and resist until the very end, you will surely find a way to survive.”
- The Situation: A large stork is attempting to swallow a frog in a single gulp. The frog’s head is already deep inside the stork’s beak, leaving it in a truly desperate, life-or-death crisis.
Anecdote of a Korean Immigrant
This illustration became deeply moving as it was known to be based on the true story of a Korean immigrant living in the United States.
- Origin: In the 1970s and 80s, a Korean immigrant who had moved to the U.S. fell into deep despair due to extreme financial hardship, business failure, and language barriers.
- Overcoming Adversity: At a moment so difficult that he wanted to give up on life, he drew this picture himself, bracing his heart by thinking, “If even a frog can hold on like this, why can’t I?”
- Spread: Since then, the image spread through the immigrant community and eventually back to mainland Korea with the phrase “Never Give Up.” It became a symbol of courage for many people during national economic crises, such as the IMF financial crisis.
Symbolic Meaning
- The Stork: Represents the massive trials, destiny, or powerful competitors that pressure us.
- The Frog: Represents “me”—a small and weak being, yet one possessed with an indomitable will.
- The Strangling Hands: Signify the wit and survival instinct unleashed at the very last moment.
This is advice for those who might still fail even after applying the four elements of success mentioned above. Just like when you first learn to ride a bicycle, never give up even if you face repeated small failures. If you keep challenging yourself while thinking of better ways (How?) to reach success, you will surely succeed.
